A Delicious Pickle Recipe!

From Karin of Countryfolk Keepsakes

These refrigerator pickles are oh sooooo sweet and best of all, easy to make!
Here's what you'll need:

6 - Cucumbers (sliced)
2 C - Sliced onions
1 C - Sliced green peppers

4 C -Sugar
2½ Tbs - Canning Salt
2 C - White Vinegar
3 tsp - Celery seed
A large canning jar or a big ol' jug with a lid.

Mix cukes, onion and peppers together.

Mix sugar, salt, vinegar and celery seed in the canning jar or jug. Be sure to mix it up real good too.

Then add your cukes, onions and peppers, stirring as you add them.

Place them in the refrigerator for 5 days making sure you mix them daily then enjoy!

You can put some in pint size jars and freeze 'em too. But I bet they won't last that long!

  4. I'm so excited to get this recipe! Thank you so much! They look wonderful. I love pickles, and this looks like the perfect recipe to try making my own for once. There's never anything like "homemade". I'm sure it will be a "keeper".
