I get a feeling these gals feel similar to myself in some of their collections. Check out Pam of Goldiloo Woodworks, Jan of Big Brown Dog, Patti of Winding Vine Designs and Karen of Curds n Whey collections. Well not all of their collections as we all know its very hard to keep a collection down to one particular item.
And Cookie as we call our Karen of Curds n Whey, has an old postal sorting desk that holds her collection of folk art and prims
I bet she has so much fun for each season decorating this wonderful piece of furniture.
And Jan of Big Brown Dog Primitives collects old oil cans.
This is really an unusual collection but the shapes and forms are interesting and i guess for someone like Jan who makes beautiful quilts which are full of intricate shapes and forms this is a perfect 3 dimensional collection.
Patti of Winding Vine Designs collects these beautiful sock darners! She works with stitcheries too and these are wonderful primitive items to collect
and just seeing this picture makes me want to start a new collection! Patti also collects these beautiful pin cushions. She makes darling ones herself!
Well i have tons of collections and it was so hard to pic just one to share but here is my,well a bit of my, (Carol Nostalgic Folk Art)collection of old garden tools and flower frogs.
Everyone keep collecting and if you collect the best in folk art, check out our Mercantile for the most beautiful dolls, quilts, stitcheries, sculpture and all prims!
