As a blogger its always fun to come up with topics to share with our readers, friends and customers. Carly of Boggy Bottom Bayou came up with a topic of What makes us proud of our adult children. Its a great idea and so here are some examples of what makes us so proud of our children young old and our fur babies.
Rhonda of My Glory Stars sent in a beautiful picture of her son stating,"This is my son Matt, he is currently deployed overseas, defending our FREEDOM, I am so very PROUD and Thankful of him!! God Bless our Soldiers and Veterans.
We are proud of him too! God Bless Matt and all our brave soldiers!
Patti Gagliardi of Winding Vine Designs is celebrating a double graduation this summer with her older son graduating from high school and her younger son graduating from 8th grade. Making the celebrations even sweeter, her older son's watercolor was selected to represent his high school in both a local art exhibit and a regional art exhibit. All this makes Patti one proud mama!
Patti's son is very talented and we all hope his painting takes first prize!
This picture is from Lynn of 2stitchin. Her daughter Katie, of whom she is quite proud of, owns a dance studio and teaches about 400 children. Katie has been dancing all her life and now is able to pass on her love of dance. Katie and the dancers worked very hard this year and you can see by the pictures the end result. Mom works right along with her, just not the dancing! Lynn enjoys sharing all this with Katie and her dancers.
This picture is too cute!!!
This is my son, Kipp and everyday he makes me proud but this past mother's day he skyped me (he's in Japan) with a handful of flowers and it just was so sweet to me. I just loved it.
Kipp from Carol of Nostalgic Folk Art
Lana Manis of Honeysuckle Lane Folk Art, sent in this lovely picture of her oldest son Michael, and his new bride, Jennifer. They were married this year on her birthday, Feb.18th
And Lana is also very proud of her fur baby Luna who has learned the "sit" command! and she is such a goregous dog!
As people and parents there are things that are huge and things that are as simple as a gesture that our loved ones do that make our heart swell with joy and love.
Everyone have the best day
