HISTORIC PALMYRA

I live in the quaint village of Palmyra, loctated in upstate New York where a part of the beauty is it's history.

This is a picture of our townhall, located in a very picturesque setting. It was once housed by a church.



These are pictures of the steeples of the four corner churches made famous by "Ripley's Believe It Or Not". It is the only intersection in the world with a church on each corner.


The Alling Museum houses the largest collection of American hand made coverlets in the United States. They date from 1820-1880.


Take a scenic walk along the Erie Canal or enjoy a boat ride on the Canal.

There is so much to see and do here and if you love shopping for antiques and primitives as much as I do you're in for a huge treat!

    The town you live in is so full of great history with the Canal and those great antique stores !.. Right up my alley or is it canal ? :o)
