Last weekend, I went for a nice long walk with my mother-in-law in the community where she lives. Unlike my boys, she was very patient with me whenever I stopped to take photos :-).
I love cornflowers. Whenever I see them blooming on the side of country roads in the summer, I can't help but smile.
The question is... Are these weeds or are these wildflowers?
The question is... Are these weeds or are these wildflowers?I once posed that question to the president of the local garden club. Her answer was that if there is a single plant and it isn't where you want it, then it is a weed. If there are several and you like where they are located, then it's a wildflower.
I'm off to see if I can locate a bunch of Queen Anne's Lace to relocate it to a place I'd like it...
